FAQs

  • On average, most websites are completed in just three weeks or less. However, more complex websites can take longer.

    Most websites are done within 3 design rounds.

  • Most websites are done in Squarespace since it tends to be the easiest for our clients to update themselves later on. But depending on what you need, we may offer other suggestions that may be more suitable for your goals.

  • Too bad! Just kidding. We guarantee our work so if you’re unsatisfied we will keep working until we get it right.

  • If you need branding we can add that on. Most of our clients have an established brand that we can base the website design on, but if you’re starting from scratch or starting over, we can work together on brand development for an additional fee.

  • Not exactly. We charge 50% up front to support the time, energy and resources needed to work on your website. When you’re happy, you pay the remaining 50%. If we can’t seem to satisfy your needs, we will draw up an “early project termination” contract, throw the website in the bin and you save yourself from paying the last 50%. No hard feelings.

  • Most projects cost around $1,200, but that all depends.

    We offer custom solutions based on your needs, so we don’t list flat prices on our site. We have low consulting fees at $100/hr if that’s all you need, or we can offer you full service. Book a call with us and we’ll determine the price together.

  • We handle the stock photography costs, as we have a blanket license that protects us and all our clients. But the website platforms themselves will be an additional fee, separate of what poquito charges. That’s because this is an ongoing asset for you and your business, so you will ultimately be responsible for keep the website alive after we hand it over to you.

  • We’ve tried payment plans in the past and it just didn’t work out for either party. It really sucks to have to shut down a website for a client because they couldn’t finish their payments. For everyone’s benefit, we keep it to flat project fees, split into two payments (50% to start, 50% when finished).

    We offer ongoing support which is billed monthly. This is handled separately of the initial website setup itself. And if all you need is a website manager, we’d be happy to discuss how we can be of service.

  • We definitely help with the copy on your website (that’s on the front page that website visitors will read) as well as the SEO (which is on the backend of the site).

    We currently don’t offer content writing, such as blogs or articles.

  • All payments are accepted via ACH transfer or Stripe invoicing.

  • Absolutely! When we launch your website, we do a video call session to walk you through the fundamentals of your website so you can feel confident in making small updates on your own. In addition, you get 10 bankable hours of post-launch support in case you get stuck or simply don’t have time to make an update yourself.
